Classic Climbing to Chopicalqui mountain- 5 days

This fantastic snowy peak, located in the center of the Blanca Mountain Range, is approximately 6350 meters above sea level. It is one of the busiest and most popular offered by the Blanca Mountain Range from among the mountains that exceed six thousand, because of the ease of its climb. Despite its height, this rugged mountain tends to blend visually, due to its proximity, with Huascarán Norte and Sur, two spectacular mountainous peaks of similar altitude. It is the fourth highest mountain in the Blanca Mountain Range.
It is highly recommended to acclimatize first and have a little experience before climbing this mountain, as the ascent route is more difficult than Huascarán. There are difficult sections to climb and in the descent you must rappel in those sections, using snow stakes and 2 ropes of 60m.
However its incredible views of Huascarán, Chacraraju, Huandoy, and Pisco make it an unforgettable adventure well worth experiencing.
